Before sending in your design files for mixtape printing, there are a few things you should check for first. These mistakes can really cost you big time if left uncorrected.
First, when making a mixtape cover, start with the correct size. Your mixtape design should be created at 1500 x 1500 pixels at 300dpi. Second, your graphic design should be exported in the CMYK color mode. This mode has a lot less colors than RGB, but it is more accurate with the final product and required by all the mixtape printing companies.
Third, check for any spelling errors. Most of the time you are creating graphics for a friend or client, and sometimes, they may spell a few things wrong. And as the one who is designing their artwork, you are forced to proof read it. Simply let the customer know you found the error and correct it. If left unchecked, both you and your client will end up looking like fools.
